For those new to Norwich and for those who need reminding, Norwich has a rich variety of activities all year round. The upcoming Norfolk and Norwich Festival (11th-27th May) prompted us here at Pure to leave our warm and comfy homes now the winter seems to be leaving and to start planning activities for the year ahead. To ensure you attend the most popular events you now need to fill your diary and book tickets soon!
Why not start with planning some gigs for the year ahead and it is always worth regularly keeping an eye on the gig listings which this year sees Bjorn again, Absolute Bowie and Heaven 17 with even Kiefer Sutherland’s own band playing at the UEA in June!
If you expect a dry summer then Earlham parks hosts the 10th annual Lets Rock Norwich (May 28th) with an impressive list of 80’s bands! And if you are really quick then Eaton Park hosts a fake festival (May 12th).
Are you a bit of a foodie? Why not schedule to visit the 2nd Gunton Arms food and drink festival in August, or the popular PorkStock in October (a family favourite) and all for a good cause as in aid of the same Charity we support here at PURE! Nelsons Journey
For the younger members of the team the tents are being dusted down for Latitude in July (13-15th) and if the thought of some estate agents in tents in the rain for a weekend doesn’t make you smile then plan for Laugh in the Park Comedy festival in Chapelfield Gardens in July (26th -29th).
The summer is officially over for us when the Beer festivals arrive in Norwich. We seem to be spoilt for choice now with the real ale festival in St Andrews Hall (22nd Oct) and not one but two Oktoberfests! Eaton Park 5/6th October and the 2nd hosted at Open 12/13th October.
Of course there is lots more to do and this is only a taster so don’t forget to peruse:
